Budokai Tenkaichi 4

Dragon Ball Z fans and collectors rejoice! After a 15-year wait, a new installment of the beloved Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi game franchise is officially in the works, and fans are ecstatic.

The announcement was made during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023 esports event, with a brief clip of Goku powering up into his Super Saiyan God Blue form being the only footage revealed. With so many new characters, storylines, and transformations introduced in the Dragon Ball Super era, a new Budokai Tenkaichi game has the potential to tap into exciting new elements while retaining the classic elements that fans know and love.

For fans of the franchise, the Budokai Tenkaichi series has always been a sort of playable encyclopedia, providing a comprehensive experience of the Dragon Ball universe. The series has had its ups and downs, with some games being less impressive than others, but fans have remained loyal to the series.

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was released in 2007, and since then, fans have eagerly awaited a new installment. While the Xenoverse franchise and Dragon Ball FighterZ have been well-received, they are not the same as the 3D fighter adaptation that fans have come to love. Despite the long wait, we are excited for the new game, driven in part by nostalgia for the previous games and the memories of playing with friends.

While there is no way to know for sure if Budokai Tenkaichi 4 (or whatever it may be called) will deliver, fans are eagerly anticipating its release and are already planning livestreams to share the gameplay experience.
